Pushing the envelope is part of ECCO’s DNA and the latest leap forward is the new Men’s C-Force, named for its innovative use of carbon – the lightest, strongest and most durable material found in any golf shoe. These sport-infused designs mark a revolutionary advance in footwear technology.
Built specifically for the athletically-aggressive modern game, the C-Force is the first shoe to incorporate a unique Carbon Force Plate (CFP) through ECCO’S direct-injection process. C-Force replaces the traditional shank piece to bring a player’s base closer to the ground. The completely new outsole design creates an ideal local point contact and traction to enhance balance, help generate power and provide the necessary support to create the ultimate swing platform. To further stability, C-Force employs an integrated Heel Support System with an internal swing stabiliser and 3-D direct injected PU wrap. Al this technology is set on a triple density outsole fabricated with carbon, PU and TPU that is beyond state-of-the-art. The net benefit of C-Force is literally more force. It’s extremely stable platform allows golfers to generate maximum torque and drive forcefully through a shot during a swing’s “power move.” The C-Force is available in both Gore-Tex and Hydromax
C-Force GTX is available in three distinctive colour options; White/Royal and White/Orange with a suggested retail price of £150.
C-Force Hydromax is available in two colour options; White/Royal, White/Orange and Black/Titanium with a suggested retail price of £135.

C Force
Raising the bar has always been a part of ECCO’s DNA. The latest leap forward is C-Force. It’s extremely stable platform allows golfers to generate maximum torque and drive forcefully through the impact. One of the game’s most recognized faces, Koch is widely admired for her powerful combination of skill, beauty, grace and personality. The mother of two was recently named one of the world’s “Sexiest Women Golfers” by GOLF.com.
A four-time member of the European Solheim Cup team, Koch’s stellar 15-year professional career has included two wins each on the Ladies European and LPGA Tours, most recently the 2005 Corona Morelia Open. Koch’s 2007 season was highlighted by top-10s at the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship and Michelob Ultra Open.
“Carin has been a tremendous spokesperson for the brand since joining our roster of staff players and we’re happy to continue the relationship,” says Jesper Thuen, Sponsor and Event Manager, ECCO Golf. “Her charisma, talent and keen fashion sense are a perfect fit with the ECCO brand and, as such, she’ll be a ‘face’ of the new ACE series marketing campaign in 2008.”
In addition to Koch, ECCO is preferred by international Tour stars Juli Inkster, Linda Wessberg, Sophie Gustafson, Laura Davies, Meena Lee, Candie Kung, Pat Hurst, Wendy Ward and others.
ECCO’s Spring/Summer 2008 women’s golf collection features unequaled comfort, style and performance in several new designs, including the distinctive ACE series which offers a unique system of interlocking Truss Support Elements that creates the game’s most advanced swing platform.

This labor-intensive manufacturing guarantees the brand’s golf shoes help players excel under the most demanding conditions.

About The Challenge Tour
Since its inception in 1987, the European Challenge Tour has developed into a proven training ground, where the champions-in-waiting can hone their skills over 72 hole competition and under differing conditions in a substantial number of countries within Europe and beyond.
Widely regarded as a valuable stepping stone onto The European Tour, the Challenge Tour has achieved incredible growth. Under the Directorship of Alain de Soultrait and headquarters administration of Mark Aspland, Tara Bickers and Sally Stewart it caters for aspiring, ambitious young hopefuls who seek to realise the dream of following in the illustrious footsteps of players of the calibre of Ryder Cup players such as Thomas Björn, Niclas Fasth and Henrik Stenson as well as US Open Champion Michael Campbell.
The no-frills competition is fierce, testing playing ability and character to the limit in offering only the top 20 players ‘promotion’ each year to The European Tour. It can, at times, be a stern examination, but those who do make the grade know that the chance of fame and fortune awaits.
Scores of Challenge Tour players have gone on to become tournament winners on The European Tour with many earning Ryder Cup honours, and the certainty for future Ryder Cup Captains is that the Challenge Tour will go on providing the incentive, opportunity and experience needed to produce winners.
