Neil Gray - Company Director


Neil  was Advertising Director at Golf Monthly at the same time that Colin Callander was Editor of the title. He started out as a media sales manager at Running magazine before joining the world’s oldest monthly golf magazine as Advertising Manager in 1989. He spent seven years working at the title before leaving to expand his experience, first at MMA Ltd and then at Marketing Activity. At MMA he built a media division responsible for publishing The Business Golfer magazine and was also Event Director of the Times MeesPierson Corporate Golf Challenge. He joined Marketing Activity Ltd as Director of its Golf Division in 1998 where he helped to organize prestige events such as the Volvo PGA Championship, the Volvo Masters and the Standard Life Loch Lomond tournament, ran a series of amateur events and also spent a considerable amount of time developing a media section that handled PR and marketing for clients such as PING, Golf Pride, Softspikes and Reed Exhibition Companies. Neil is a 8-handicap member of the Brocket Hall Golf Club in Hertfordshire. He is a keen rugby enthusiast and a supporter of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
